Coronavirus infection has killed 200,000 people worldwide.
The death toll has risen to 203,289 according to Worldometer a digital media company based in the United States. The number of corona infections worldwide has reached 2,921,201.
Coronavirus infection is the leading cause of death in the United States, with 53,511 deaths, followed by 936,000.
According to Chinese state media, the first death was caused by the coronavirus on January 11. Since then, the virus has spread to 210 countries.
The death toll is over 20,000 in five countries, including the United States. Of these, 26,384 died in Italy, 22,902 in Spain, 22,614 in France, and 20,319 in the United Kingdom.
British Home Secretary Priti Patel said the death toll was “sad”. But the death toll at home and in nursing homes in the UK is not linked. The death toll is expected to rise further.
