Titan Air’s charter plane, which has been evacuated by the United Kingdom (United Kingdom) in Kathmandu, has returned with 248 British and foreign citizens.
The charter plane arrived in Kathmandu at 7.30 am to take the British citizen out of the closure due to lockdown.
Tribhuvan International Airport had opened check-in counters for these passengers from 7 am onwards.
According to Nepal Aviation General Manager Satis Neupane, who has taken over the management of this charter flight in Kathmandu, the flight has 440 passengers, including two infants. According to the agency, the flight also has citizens from Poland, Portugal, the United States, and Saint Lucia, besides British, Nepali origin.
The Boeing 767 aircraft, which has a capacity of 265 seats, will depart from Kathmandu at the Dubai International Airport in about 5 hours. It will arrive at London Airport in the UK only after about an hour-long flight of fuel.
